Well it's been over five years now since an update. Unfortunatly twebs has not been maintained since then. Instead I have been developing a bunch of other software including a new framework for PHP, compared to twebs it is far superior in terms of software design. Paxwax does not have a website for itself yet. However when it does, this site will redirect to Paxwax.

Long time no see!

Well, I've sort of had a long break from twebs, but it doesn't mean that twebs is dying - on the contrary I'm getting more and more motivated :)
Anyways for those who care I'm now serving my military duties at the main Norwegian navy base, Håkonsvern. I'm on a MTB (Missile-torpedo-boat), which is a small 120 foot long peice of metal weighting around 150 tons. On the boat my assignment is to shoot the 40 mm L/70 front deck canon.

Home, sweet home

This weekend I'm free from my military duties and spending my time off here at home. My good it's good not having officers around that you have to greet!
It's nice to see my cat again, I think she's missed me, I've missed her. Later today my grandparants are coming down to see how I'm doing. Then even later I might go off to the city getting drunk (I haven't had an alco drink in three weeks!, and I haven't been drunk in a month!!!) I might bring sone wine down to the camp, so that I can get a real taste of the famous night life in Stavanger.

July 17th I'm headed for Stavanger where I will be trained to kill - I'm joining the Navy. Unlike you might suspect I actually really look forward to getting away from everyday life where I have to read tons of school books, stay infront of an electron accelerator for hours at a time, etc...

Load balancing

I've added simple, very primitive load blancing between web servers, soon to come image servers too.
It works by simple changing the url's on links so that you can decide which server the user will use when following a link.
it's fast and should work quite well. but naturally the way the system works it doesn't help a bit if all users only use the first page... Update: Extually that's not 100% true since the server can be releived from the job of serving images... (even on the first visit)
